≪Remote access≫



Some online journals and e-books subscribed by MPU can be used by remote access outside the campus without going through the campus LAN. Since remote access requires a procedure in advance, please refer to the usage of each platform below. You do not need to go through the library for the procedure. Please make all settings for each user.

In addition, the online journals published on each platform cannot view all titles. Please note that you can only see the full text of the titles MPU subscribes.

Please be sure to register at the “my-pharm” address.
For administrative purposes, addresses other than my-pharm will be deleted without notice.

ScienceDirect （To top page）

（１）Register as a user at ScienceDirect.

Click here for details on user registration.
It is necessary to do it on campus. Be sure to register at the address with "my-pharm".
If you are already registered, please log-in again on campus.

（２）Set the new remote access (Self Managed Remote Access).

Please refer to “2. Activation of remote access” for the setting method.
This setting must also be done on campus.

（３）After setting, you can use it by remote access.

When using with remote access, please log-in at first.


Remote access is valid for 6 months. In order to extend the program, you must log-in again on the university within the last 6 months. If it has expired, please repeat the above procedure.　



SpringerLink （To top page）

（１）Please register your personal ID at SpringerLink.

Please refer here for registration of personal ID. It is necessary to do it on campus.

（２）Once you have registered your personal ID, you can use it by remote access.

When using with remote access, please log-in first.



Maruzen e-Book Library （To top page）

（１）Please register your ID and password at Maruzen e-Book Library.

Please refer here for registration. It is necessary to do it on campus.

（２）Once you have registered your ID and password, you can use it by remote access.

When using with remote access, please log-in first.


Remote access is valid for 90 days. If you want to renew the expiration date, please do so on campus.
Please refer to here page 2 “Accounts need to be extended” for how to renew.

If you have forgotten your password, delete your account by following steps below and register again.
【Account deletion procedure】
① Access the Maruzen e-Book Library through the university and click on the “Account” button.
② Enter your authentication ID and name and click “Agree to Terms of Service and Next”.
③ Click “No” in next screen.
