Theoretical Linguistics/English Linguistics/Morphology

I work in the field of English linguistics, especially morphology. My current research focuses on neoclassical compounds, i.e., expressions containing elements derived from classical languages (e.g., Greek and Latin), such as philosophyelectrophile, and otorhinolaryngology. Through the analysis of neoclassical compounds, which are often found in academic terms, I am promoting a morphological approach to medical and pharmaceutical terms, and applying the results of the research to the teaching of English to undergraduate students.
