Asia/Africa Center for Drug Discovery
In 2005, Meiji Pharmaceutical University established "Asia/Africa Center for Drug Discovery", aiming to globally contribute to research and education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. In 2006, our university applied for the "JSPS AA Science Platform Program" which is designed and supported by Japan Society for the Prompotion of Science(JSPS), and was selected as a core institution of the program. The center has taken the initiative to conduct collaboration research activities in the program. In 2010, our new application has been adopted for the JSPS program during the period of three years form 2010 to 2013.

•Development for the Medicinal Chemistry based on Biologically Active Natural Products in The Subtropical Zone [April 2006 - March 2009]
•Development of effective methods for early diagnosis and treatment of intractable diseases utilizing characteristics biologically active natural products and enzymes [April 2010 - March 2013]
